Sandra Yelen
Sandra has been working in education for her entire career.
For over 30 years Sandra has been teaching children and educators through her passion, creativity and thirst for knowledge.
Spanning over multiple businesses and across education sectors Sandra always ensures that the philosophies and ethos of the employers are thoroughly met and exceeded. Her roles generally included:

- Developing and leading curriculum
- Designing new teaching methodologies through research and collaborations
- Writing and implementing policies and procedures for educators and the schools
- Supporting and mentoring staff
- Working closely with families
- Ensuring smooth transitions for children into and out of kindergarten
Further to the above, from 2005 to 2008 Sandra worked for the Australian Government travelling throughout Australia auditing and assessing childcare facilities. Standards set by the government were assessed over a period and reports were compiled and presented by Sandra to the childcare centre and administrating body.
Childcare centres were rated and then encouraged to improve on those ratings wherever possible.
Individually, the services provided by Sandra were given excellent reviews by her management team and was encouraged to continue this line of work for as long as possible.
Additional to the above, training intuitions within Victoria rely and employ Sandra to assess trainees and kindergarten students during practical placement to ensure the student, kindergarten and institution are all within the standards and general practice of the training guidelines.
Sandra’s other passion is her family. She spends as much time as possible with her grandchildren watching them grow and educating them as she does her students.
